Floella sums up the importance of storytelling

I did promise to share the Floella video from the recent storytelling conference, so here it is! For those of you who missed my earlier posts and are seeing this completely out of context (!), I co-presented with one of my clients, Liga Magdalenoka-Keen at the recent Market Research Society (MRS)‘s Storytelling conference where we talked about the art of creating spectacle to drive action when presenting insight results to internal stakeholders, drew on some theatrical techniques, and had a bit of a pantomime theme.

Floella is Rapunzel’s wicked stepmother, who made an appearance on a few of the slides, summing up our session. (My youngest nieces watched this over the weekend and are still a bit scared of her evil laugh!) Disclaimer: Any resemblance she might bear to me is purely coincidental…

PS It makes more sense if when Floella pauses at the end you shout ‘Oh no it isn’t’ at your screen – which is what we did on the day 🙂

I also presented at the MRS consumer qual conference last Thursday talking about sustainability messaging, this time without Floella, who’s taking a well-earned break for a while #ohyessheis

Summary of that to follow soon! 🙂
